Hello to all of the Members of CUPE Local 204. Here are some things to look for in March!
Table Officer Elections:
The positions of 1st Vice-President and Recording-Secretary are up for election for 3 year terms. We had nominations at the Wednesday, February 26th Meeting.
The voting will occur over the Younified Member Portal as past elections had happened. The voting period will be from 7:00 am Tuesday, April 1st and will end at 7:00 am on Friday, April 4th.
As this is an electronic vote, all members will be allowed to vote 24 hours/day.
For those experiencing problems or need help to register, the Elections Committee will available from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm each day of the vote.
During the day of April 4th, the Elections Committee will send out the notice to all Members with the names of the successful candidates.
Next week, the Members who are running for election will have their election material sent to all of the units as well as being posted on social media, placed on the website, Younified and sent through the email system.
Notice of Special Meeting:
A Special General Membership Meeting over Teams will be held on Wednesday, April 9th at 6:00 PM.
The agenda of that meeting will be:

Roll Call/Call to Order
Equality Statement
Swearing in of the successful candidates for the 1st Vice-President and Recording-Secretary elections
Adjournment
*Note* There will be no other union business conducted at this meeting.

All Members are asked to log into their Younified accounts to ensure that they are working and to provide time for “tech” support should you require it.
